We start clients with an on-site consultation. During the consultation, we can walk through your space and explore design ideas, plant selections, color and material choices, and discuss improving or maintaining the underlying soil health in your landscape. We also examine the existing landscape features for accessibility, safety, rain water flow and infiltration, and sunlight availability.
After our consultation, we’ll provide a timely estimate with plant and materials options and examples of our work. When you’re ready to move forward, our design assistant will map the project out. When your design is ready, you will be introduced to your project manager who will be your point of contact through the installation process.
Your project manager will meet with you on-site and walk through the project together before the team gets started. Our teams are efficient and focused on quality. We aim to delight our clients with timely communications and high-quality craftsmanship.
We will meet with you at your home to discuss explore the potential of your landscape together. We will assess the site, and discuss with you how and by whom your landscape will be used in order to get a clear understanding of your needs and expectations. We will show you examples of our projects and provide references and locations of some of our completed work sites so you can visit and get a sense of our style.
After the consultation visit, we will provide you a landscape estimate for the services you would like us to provide. When you accept the proposal, our design assistant will begin mapping out your landscape including the new landscape design.
Installation is guided by our landscape designer and managed by our talented project manager. As installation occurs, we will keep you informed with updates about installation progress and expected timelines. Installation wraps up with an on-site walk-through with the landscape designer and clients.
Before your installation is complete, we will offer you a maintenance package that will keep your gardens growing in the right direction. We can help with year-round maintenance including mulching, lawns, plantings, weeding, snow removal, and spring and fall clean-up.
We take a cooperative approach, developing the design concept together with our clients and tailoring the service to their taste, needs, and budget. We design and build everything from patios, firepits, walkways, retaining walls, garden beds, and raised beds to details such as fencing, screens, trellises, pergolas, benches, plant containers, and window boxes.
We prepare complete landscape installation and planting plans that outline plant varieties, quantities, spacing, and plant care. Once the plan is finalized, we source and select plants, pavers, and other materials through trusted local nurseries and suppliers.
Our team then completes the layout and installation of hardscapes and plantings. After installation, you will receive watering and care instructions for all new plantings included in your landscape design.
As the education and advocacy branch, we work with community partners to create safe places for our pollinators, one garden, yard, business, school, church, conversation at a time. We know that together, we can build the buzz!
As the construction branch of Minnehaha Falls Landscaping, we build outdoor decks, steps, railings, pergolas, fences, and planters. When it gets colder, we step inside to remodel living spaces with creativity and craftsmanship, including cabinetry.
As the gardening branch, we work within your landscape to grow plants, flowers, shrubs and woodland gardens that are beautiful, restorative, and safe for birds, people, pets, and pollinators. We also install bee-friendly lawns and do spring and fall clean-up.
